I was one of the millions of frantic Ldn 2012 applicants fretting when the ticketing website went into meltdown at 23.45 the other night. Like others, I got into something of a frenzy and found myself applying for four tickets to the handball (!) final. The morning after I realised I don't even know the rules to handball or care who wins. All in all, I felt a bit of a mug. Until I read this it-could-be-worse pearler ...
